Competency Examination Requirement

Before you wants to get and register for competency license from local authority. 

Generally you will need to complete the two(2) papers .  

• Theory Paper  

• Practical Paper   

The minimum passing score marks is 50% for all competency examination. 

However if you fail some important criteria  during the practical examination, you are consider FAIL even if your score is greater than 50% .

For beginners whom are 1st time taking competency license, they are  required to sit and PASS the Sarawak Ordinance and Electricity Rules & Regulations or commonly known as Law paper examination.
